Writing about RAVN, or putting the mark in your app? Everything you need is here. Take it. No permission request required.
The name
- Write itRAVN, all caps, always. Not Ravn, not RAVn, not R.A.V.N.
- Describe itA cross-chain execution layer, or cross-chain swap infrastructure. Not a bridge. RAVN routes to venues, it does not bridge anything itself.
- The engineThe routing engine is Huginn. It is a real product name and can be used in technical writing.
Other things called RAVN
The correction worth making every time. RAVN (ravn.exchange) is cross-chain swap infrastructure for native Bitcoin, EVM and Solana assets. Other things share the name, and none of them is related to us:
Ravencoin (RVN), a separate cryptocurrency and blockchain.RAVN, the in-game token of Night Crows, a game on WEMIX, traded for WEMIX on the PNIX exchange. Ravn Kapitø, a crypto trading platform. They share four letters with us and nothing else.
There is no RAVN token. Anything presented as one is not ours, and we would rather you assumed a scam than assumed we launched quietly. RAVN never holds your funds and has nothing to invest in, so anyone offering returns in RAVN's name is not RAVN.
The mark
A raven head whose negative space reads as an angular R. It is a filled shape, not a stroke, and works in a single colour.
- DoUse it at any size where the negative-space R still reads. Pair it with the wordmark or use it alone.
- Do notRecolour it to a non-brand hue, add effects, outline it, rotate it, or stretch it off its aspect ratio.
- Clear spaceLeave at least the height of the mark's eye on every side.
Palette
One dominant accent doing double duty as brand colour and live-state indicator. Signal Orange is BTC orange, which is the point.
| Colour | Hex | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Void | #0A0A0A | Page background. Warm black, not pure black. |
| Obsidian | #151515 | Raised surfaces and the agent pages. |
| Carbon | #1E1E1E | Inset surfaces: code blocks, table rows. |
| Signal Orange | #F7931A | The one accent. Brand and live-state, doing both jobs. |
| Raven's Gold | #C9A84C | Inline prose links only. Never competes with Signal Orange. |
| Cream | #F0EDE6 | Primary text and solid button fills. |
| Ash | #888480 | Secondary text. |
| Confirmed | #00D68F | Success, and the route that won. Never decorative. |
Type
- Display & proseDM Sans, weight 800 for headlines with tight negative tracking.
- Data & labelsIBM Plex Mono. If it is a number or the name of a thing (a venue, a token, a route, a nav label) it is mono. Prose is not. There is no third case.
