Mayan is not just a bridge. For a swap on one chain it uses its own MONO_CHAIN program: a Solana program on Solana, or a contract plus a Forwarder that wraps a DEX aggregator on EVM.
We checked it live against Mayan's quote API (2026-07-29) and race it on all 12 chains Mayan supports: Ethereum, Optimism, BNB Chain, Unichain, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Base, Linea, HyperEVM, Monad and Solana. Mayan does not cover zkSync or World Chain, so it sits those out.

We skip the gas top-up
Mayan can bundle a little destination gas into your swap, called gasDrop. No chain needs it to settle. In testing it cost about 0.2% of output on every EVM cross-chain quote, and rival venues carry no such cost. So we leave it off. If you want gas on the other side, get it after the swap lands.
Real assets, not wrapped ones
Mayan pays you from liquidity already on the destination chain. No RAVN bridge, no RAVN-minted token. You do rely on Mayan's own security, which is venue risk separate from RAVN.
